The Wilmslow festival is a annual local event we always like to attend. This year included a strong line up and with Bowdon entering 2 festivals over the weekends his festival was always going to test us. The boys put up a good fight in the group stages. The loss of Woody to a leg gash only seen on "slasher movies" was a shame. Although, Woody enjoyed his experience of gas & air! Plus, I understand he is now being waited on by his mum & dad. In our group was Chester A (lost 1-2), Congleton (won 2-0) and Vale of Lune (lost 0-1). This put us in the plate semi against Liverpool St Helen's and with numbers low we put up a good fight to draw. Although, LSH went through on group try count and they went onto win it. Again the passion was there from the boys but the results went against us.
